Michael Doane, PhD.

Bio:

Michael J. Doane is a Director and Interim Head of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) at Alkermes, Inc. Joining Alkermes, Inc. in 2018, Michael’s expertise includes the collection, analysis, and communication of patient-centric data to quantify disease burden and identify unmet patient needs. Prior to joining Alkermes, Inc., Michael was a Manager of Health Outcomes Research at Kantar Health and generated real-world evidence through rigorous quantitative methods (e.g., custom observational studies among patients, caregivers, and physicians, patient preference studies, physician chart reviews, and analyses of medical claims) across various therapeutic areas (e.g., oncology, psychiatry/psychology, cardiovascular diseases, rare diseases, and diabetes). Michael holds a MA and PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno and a BA in Psychology from Hobart College.
