Bio:
Jessica McDaniel, PhD is the Head of the US Field Medical Affairs organization at Genmab, US Inc. As the Senior Director, Field Medical Affairs, Jessica has built and leads a high-performing team of field-based Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) and Health Evidence & Outcomes Liaisons (HEOLs) who engage the scientific/healthcare community. Jessica provides strategic leadership with high visibility in the organization, leading the planning and execution of Field Medical Affairs activities in alignment with US and Global Medical Affairs Strategy teams, across Genmab’s hematology and oncology portfolio.
Jessica joined Genmab 7 years ago as the first US field medical employee. During her tenure at Genmab, Jessica built the US field medical organization from the ground up, employing the first team of MSLs, expanding the team and establishing separate Solid Tumor and Hematology MSL teams, as well as Genmab’s first HEOL team, who have been instrumental in the success of Genmab’s first product launches, Tivdak® and Epkinly®.
Prior to joining Genmab, Jessica worked in field medical affairs at Celgene where she launched Abraxane® in non-small cell lung and pancreatic cancers, and Revlimid® in multiple myeloma. Jessica received her PhD in Cancer Biology from Moffitt Cancer Center at the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Marietta College in Marietta, OH. Jessica lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband, Chad, and two daughters, Regan (11) and Rory (8). She is an avid runner, traveler, and Ohio Sports enthusiast!
