Bio:
Melanie Fleeman, PhD, serves as Executive Director and Head of Scientific Communications, Education & Digital Content, within the Oncology Global Medical Affairs group at Bayer. Melanie oversees a team of talented scientific experts in their mission to transform data into innovative medical education. This team is responsible for creating and translating scientific messages into impactful and engaging scientific content, congress planning and developing medical booth content, leading strategic Thought Leader identification and planning, exploring innovative digital channels for education and engagement, and binging all of this together to create an Omnichannel strategy.
Melanie received her PhD in Biomedical Science with a focus in Oncology from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and has spent the last 15 years gaining expertise in Scientific Communications and Medical Affairs roles. Melanie has also completed executive training programs in the areas of Women in Leadership, Digital Health Strategies, Behavioral Science, and Business Model Innovation.
