Amy Akers Teets

Bio:

Amy Akers Teets serves as the Global Public Affairs Head, Patient Strategy, Specialty Care at Sanofi, where she develops and executes patient and public affairs strategies critical to the Specialty Care business. With over 30 years of experience in advocacy, public affairs, marketing, and coalition development, Amy leads the Specialty Care Co-Lab, working with senior leadership to co-create people-focused solutions that improve outcomes for patients, caregivers, and society. Her expertise spans numerous therapeutic areas including rare disease, infant health, oncology, and cardiovascular disease, as well as transversal health policy and advocacy issues.

Prior to her current role, Amy joined Sanofi in 2020 as the Global Head of Rare Diseases for Pompe and MPS, where she successfully transformed relationships with global patient advocacy groups and integrated the patient voice across multiple initiatives. She previously served as Global Chief Operating Officer at Cullari Communications Global, where she provided strategic counsel to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients across seven therapeutic areas.
