Carl de Luca is a forward-thinking leader in oncology medical affairs, serving as the Medical Insights and Data Analytics Lead. In this role, Carl spearheads the integration of advanced data strategies to inform and shape medical strategy across the oncology portfolio. His work is grounded in a deep commitment to scientific excellence and a passion for leveraging data to accelerate patient impact.

Carl specializes in applying artificial intelligence solutions to extract and synthesize insights from diverse data streams, including field medical reports, scientific literature, and real-world evidence. His innovative approach has transformed how medical insights are captured, analyzed, and translated into strategic action. Most recently, Carl led the expansion of the medical insights capability into Europe, enabling a more unified and global perspective on oncology trends and stakeholder needs.

Currently, Carl is piloting a cross-functional AI initiative designed to maximize information sharing and analytical depth across medical affairs teams within oncology. This project aims to enhance strategic alignment and accelerate Regeneron’s mission of improving patient outcomes through science.
