Bio:
Charles is a seasoned pharmaceutical marketer with a focus on delivering meaningful & relevant communications to drive impactful health outcomes and conversation. Currently serving as a Paid Media TA lead at Novo Nordisk, Charles is enthusiastic about leveraging timely data to inform media strategy and empower an omnichannel experience. Curiosity prompts him to challenge the status quo, evaluate resources, and to integrate enterprise strategy into marketing plans to maximize impact. Personalization and the balance of scale is an ongoing consideration, one in which he often looks beyond the traditional approaches of pharmaceutical marketing to overcome. Charles is also passionate about the evolution of AI, as we continue to apply the technology to our day-to-day lives and cautiously leverage it within our healthcare system. The AI opportunity is two-fold in that it has the ability to enhance clinical activities, but it also has the opportunity to bring an additional layer of intelligence to marketing initiatives.
Prior to Novo Nordisk, Charles served in client leadership roles at Havas and IPG Health. With over 11 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, he considers some of his most meaningful value-drivers to be channel versatility and healthcare audience target unification (DTC, HCP, caregiver, etc.). His experience ranges across specialities, manufacturers, brand lifecycles, target audiences, and strategic imperatives. Charles also owned and operated his own company for 10 years.
Charles lives in Brick, NJ with his wife and two sons. He enjoys spending time with his family and loves the beach, cooking, exercising, and almost anything outside. He’s also an avid Philadelphia Eagles (World Champions!) and Phillies fan. Charles is a proud graduate of Penn State’s College of Communications.
