With over 25 years of experience in government affairs, policy, and corporate affairs, Christie Bloomquist is a senior leader passionate about delivering innovative and strategic public policy solutions that benefit patients and society. She serves as Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs HP US at Boehringer Ingelheim, leading corporate affairs strategy for one of the world's leading research-driven pharmaceutical companies. She also serves as President of Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Foundation, advancing the company's commitment to societal health and impact. Christie's career spans deep expertise in aligning policy, regulation, and commercial strategy in global pharma. As a former healthcare regulatory attorney and law firm partner, she spent a decade at AstraZeneca, including as VP of U.S. Corporate Affairs & Government Affairs, leading communications, branding, policy, pricing, and public affairs across major therapeutic portfolios. She also served as VP of U.S. Strategy & Government Affairs at Astellas Pharma U.S., directly supporting the U.S. Commercial President and driving strategy across oncology, women's health, and cell and gene therapy while also advancing the company’s government affairs priorities. Outside of work, Christie is a Peloton devotee, a cook, and a proud mom of three daughters and three very energetic dogs. She’s also someone who leans into candid conversations about midlife, and what it really takes to stay energized, lead well, and show up fully for the people (and animals) who matter most.
