Bio:

Court serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of US Commercial Specialty Business Unit (SBU) at GSK, where he oversees commercialization for Specialty medicines for millions of people affected by conditions like lupus, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps and more.

Court empowers and inspires teams to deliver performance for the current portfolio and bring the pipeline forward from development to commercialization, all in the spirit of helping patients get ahead of disease. He leads with consistency and predictability, promoting stability among his team and confidence from his peers. His ability to drive focus and accountability within his teams has led to strategic wins through a culture of disciplined execution and mutual support.

Court’s impressive GSK legacy, which began with a sales representative role, spans over 30 years and includes US leadership positions in Market Access, Marketing and Sales. Court previously served as the Senior Vice President & Business Unit Head of GSK’s Anti-Infective and Respiratory (AIR) team.

A native New Yorker and citizen of the world, Court also served as a US Army Cavalry Officer responsible for leading Scouts on reconnaissance missions in ground combat in Iraq. He earned a Bronze Star Medal for his calm decisions and steady performance under fire. He has carried over many of the leadership lessons from his military days to his work guiding teams at GSK.

Court is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and completed an additional certification at Wharton, University of Pennsylvania. He enjoys reading history, traveling, gardening, and scuba diving along with his wife and three children.
