Deborah Long

Bio:

Deborah joined CSL Behring in August, 2024, as Senior Vice President, Medical Affairs. She earned her
MD from the University of Massachusetts, completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and fellowships in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at
Wilford Hall Medical Center. Deborah spent a decade practicing pulmonary and critical care medicine
prior to joining the industry. Prior to joining CSL, Deborah spent 7 years at Vertex Pharmaceuticals in
roles of increasing responsibility, ultimately serving as Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs from 2020
until her departure. Earlier in her career, she spent time at both GSK and Pfizer. Deborah lives outside of
Boston, Massachusetts.
