Bio:

Diana Morgenstern, MD, FACP is a general internist whose varied career to date includes depth and breadth in clinical practice, medical education, and strategic approaches to pharmaceutical industry medical affairs, including real world evidence generation to address care gaps. Dr. Morgenstern has extensive experience working in large pharma, pre-commercial biotech and consulting both US and globally, with product-specific and portfolio-level responsibility for development stage and in-line products in vaccines, women’s health, gastroenterology, ambulatory care and hospital-based specialty therapeutic areas. She has advised and collaborated with internal and external colleagues worldwide to develop medical strategies in support of the needs of patients, health care providers, payers and health agencies seeking to relieve the burden of both communicable and non-communicable diseases. She currently serves as Head, Real World Evidence and Outcomes Research at Viatris.

Dr. Morgenstern has published in the areas of women’s health, women’s mental health, pneumococcal and meningococcal vaccination, health economics, and gastroenterology. Recognized as a “Best Doctor” in the NE Region of the US, Dr. Morgenstern has continued to supervise internal medicine residents in primary care internal medicine and holds a clinical appointment at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.
