Bayo Curry-Winchell, MD, MS, known online as Dr. Bayo (pronounced "bye-oh"), is a nationally recognized health advocate, board-certified family medicine physician, and physician leader who continues to care for patients while bringing both clinical experience and advocacy to healthcare conversations nationwide. She reaches millions of people each month through social media, is a trusted medical expert regularly featured on ABC, NBC, and other national media outlets, and is the author of the forthcoming book, How to Talk to Your Doctor(Penguin Random House, 2027).
Dr. Bayo completed medical school at Ross University School of Medicine and her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. She earned her Master of Science degree from Marietta College.
She is the founder of CliniciansWhoCare.com, a global, crowd-sourced directory of clinicians with a reputation for listening to and believing their patients.
