Bio:

Eric Rubin is an accomplished business communications strategist with extensive experience leading internal and external communications for Fortune 500 companies in the pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods, specialty chemical and over-the-counter medicine sectors. A trusted executive partner who challenges status quo thinking to reframe and resolve complex issues, Eric is known for enhancing communications effectiveness at corporate and business unit levels.

With more than 30 years of experience directing Internal and External Communications functions and programs, Eric’s primary focus is aligning communications priorities with organizational goals and objectives. The most effective, respected and valued communications strategies mirror company business plans and are in lock step with leadership priorities.

Eric is currently Head of Communications for TAPI, Teva Pharmaceuticals’ active pharmaceuticals unit. Prior to that, Eric built and led the Corporate Affairs function for Teva’s Global Operations organization, overseeing all aspects of communications for a large, multinational manufacturing and supply network. Before joining Teva, Eric held internal and external-facing leadership roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb; Pfizer; Wyeth, where he established the global Internal Communications function for its Consumer Healthcare division; as well as Roche, Mars Incorporated and Sun Chemical Corporation.

Eric holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
