Fiona Cookson

Bio:

As Head of US Media for AstraZeneca based in New York, Fiona leads the media function in the US building the media profile of the Company in support of its growth ambitions. Fiona joined AstraZeneca in 2021 as Senior Director of Global Media Relations based in Cambridge, UK, leading on the roll out of the Company’s COVID-19 vaccine during the pandemic. Before joining AstraZeneca, Fiona held key communications leadership positions at a variety of organizations across the creative industries and education sector, and she worked in senior media roles for the UK Government in business, health and home affairs departments.
