Executive Director

Liver Education Advocates

Bio:

Gina Villiotti Madison is Executive Director of Liver Education Advocates (LEA), a national nonprofit dedicated to liver health education, awareness, early detection, and patient support. Since taking the helm in 2019, Gina has helped expand LEA’s reach through patient and caregiver programs, community-based education, multicultural outreach, and partnerships across healthcare and industry.

Drawing on nearly two decades of experience in marketing, communications, innovation, and community engagement, Gina brings a unique perspective to patient advocacy—combining the lived realities of patients and families with an understanding of how organizations and brands communicate and build meaningful relationships. Her perspective is also deeply personal, shaped by her own experience as a caregiver and her firsthand understanding of the challenges patients and families face while navigating serious illness.

Gina is passionate about ensuring the patient voice is not simply included but valued early and authentically. She believes the strongest pharma–advocacy partnerships begin with listening, trust, and a shared commitment to meeting patients where they are.
