Jason Riis, Ph.D.

Bio:

Jason Riis is Founder and Chief Behavioral Scientist at Behavioralize, where he helps pharmaceutical and healthcare teams apply behavioral science to improve how evidence, narratives, and decisions connect in practice. He holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Michigan and completed postdoctoral research under Nobel laureate Daniel Kahneman, widely considered the founder of behavioral economics. He went on to spend over a decade on the faculty at Harvard Business School and the Wharton School, where he focused on applying behavioral science to real-world decision-making. At Behavioralize, he focuses on translating behavioral insights into practical strategies – from refining clinical narratives to improving how healthcare professionals interpret and act on information.
