Bio:

John (JD) Lineen is a senior commercial leader with more than 20 years of experience helping pharmaceutical companies modernize customer engagement. Most recently, he served as HCP Experience Lead for Novo Nordisk’s obesity portfolio, guiding omnichannel strategy, brand execution, and competitive response for both inline and future launches. An early adopter of AI in pharma marketing, he applied new tools to accelerate planning, refine messaging, and strengthen competitive response.

Previously, JD was Executive Director of Omnichannel Strategy at Bristol Myers Squibb, where he built the enterprise omnichannel planning framework and led launch planning, omnichannel, and media execution for Camzyos, Sotyktu, and Cobenfy. Earlier at GSK, he led the global launch of GSKPro across 60+ markets, introduced agile team rooms that sped digital delivery, and advanced new approaches to HCP engagement that became enterprise standards. Before moving client side, JD spent more than a decade at Digitas Health, rising to SVP Marketing while leading AOR and dAOR accounts, including a two-year onsite leadership role at AstraZeneca.

Recognized for uniting cross-functional teams around shared goals, JD serves on the University of Maryland’s MBA Advisory Board, supporting strategy, networking, and applied AI curriculum development. He also builds GPTs, applications, and thought leadership programs to help the industry use AI to transform the commercial model.
