Jennifer Brennan

Bio:

Jennifer Brennan is Senior Director, Global R&D Communications at Daiichi Sankyo, responsible for global R&D/product external communications and media relations across the company’s portfolio. 

Jennifer joined Daiichi Sankyo in 2016 to start the global oncology product communications function and now oversees a team of eight based in the U.S., responsible for telling the story behind the transformation of Daiichi Sankyo into a global oncology company.

She works closely with senior leadership and across numerous cross-functional teams to announce important milestones for the company’s approved and pipeline medicines, including several first-of-its kind FDA approvals and three of the largest biopharma licensing deals in history, which collectively are making an impact how cancer is treated globally.

Prior to joining Daiichi Sankyo, Jennifer gained more than 20 years of experience in global product communications for biopharmaceutical companies with her own consultancy as well as advising clients at several public relations agencies, including FleishmanHillard, Ketchum, Hill & Knowlton and Ruder-Finn, where she specialized in translating oncology medical research to media, investors and consumer audiences.

Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from The Pennsylvania State University. She currently lives in Roseland, NJ with her husband and three children.
