Kimberly Moran joined UCB in 2007. She became UCB’s Senior Vice President and Head of U.S. Rare Disease in April 2022, where she leads the commercial organization driving strategic growth to elevate healthcare impact and business value.
Kimberly Moran is an experienced global and U.S. leader across the biopharmaceutical and artificial intelligence industries. She has been instrumental in pioneering UCB’s Digital Business Transformation, implementing AI-driven patient models and creating a robust data warehouse to optimize cross-functional collaboration. She is also recognized for leading and designing a novel “Integrated Launch Room” strategy, enabling real-time data analysis and agile decision-making to continually optimize launch effectiveness while remaining closely attuned to patient needs.
In the last three years (2023-2026), Kim led UCB’s uncharted FDA approvals and launches for two of UCB’s growth drivers, RYSTIGGO and ZILBRYSQ. This earned her received external recognition from Medical Marketing + Media magazine which noted her “leadership, creativity, leadership, creativity, and insight that set the bar high” for the launch of the U.S. Rare Disease Portfolio. In March 2026, Kim further advanced UCB’s rare disease strategy by leading the U.S. launch of KYGEVVI, marking the company’s first foray into ultra-rare.
