Kirtida Pandya

Bio:

Kirtida Pandya recently retired as Executive Director and Head of Medical Services & Operations for Sandoz US Medical Affairs, closing a remarkable 30-year career in Medical Affairs leadership. She was a driving force behind the transformation of the Sandoz Medical Affairs organization, building a modern, high performing Medical Services & Operations function that strengthened scientific rigor, operational excellence, and cross functional alignment.

She led the Medical Services & Operations Center of Excellence, elevating consistency, compliance, and efficiency across Medical Strategy, HEOR, External Engagement, Medical Advocacy, and key enabling functions. Her oversight spanned Medical Information, Medical Communications, External Funding (Grants, IITs, MAPs, Registries), Congress Planning and Operations, US Material Review (MLR), Training & Onboarding, SOP governance, audit readiness, and enterprise-wide operational excellence.

Before Sandoz, she spent eight years at Novartis, where she built the Medical Communications foundation for Cosentyx and led strategic planning, scientific communications, and expert engagement.

Kirtida’s broad therapeutic expertise reflects her diverse experience across industry and agencies, including leadership roles in medical affairs, medical operations and governance, publication strategy, medical information, medical writing, and pharmacy practice. She holds a PharmD and BS from Rutgers, a master’s in healthcare management, and an executive certificate in AI in Health Care from Harvard Medical School.

She has been a long-standing contributor to ISMPP and MAPS, shaping External Education standards, delivering high impact learning programs, and continuing her leadership through MAPS volunteerism.
