Bio:

Marcella Debidda, PhD, is a healthcare innovation leader with 15+ years translating rare-disease patient and caregiver perspectives into research, clinical development, and policy impact.

As President of Patient Insights and Clinical Solutions at BioNews, she leads two divisions: Clinical Solutions, which she built and launched in 2020 to connect BioNews's rare disease communities to sponsored clinical trials, and Patient Insights, one of the largest rare disease behavioral insights programs in the U.S., spanning 50+ conditions and 1.5M+ patients and caregivers.

A molecular biologist by training, she held research fellowships at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Cincinnati Children's Hospital before moving into clinical research and patient strategy: directing phase II through IV trial design at Harvard Clinical Research Institute, leading Patient Affairs at Science 37, serving as Chief Patient Officer at monARC Bionetworks, and serving as a Scientific Advisor at Stanford Medicine X. She counsels pharma companies, nonprofits, accelerators, and startups on co-creation and patient-centered innovation.
