Bio:
Michael Tung, M.D., MBA, is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of vTv Therapeutics (Nasdaq: VTVT), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company advancing cadisegliatin (TTP399), an investigational oral glucokinase activator in Phase 3 development as an adjunctive therapy to insulin for type 1 diabetes. Dr. Tung brings more than 20 years of finance, corporate strategy, investor relations, and business development experience across public and private life sciences companies. Prior to joining vTv in 2025, he served as Chief Financial Officer of AdvanCell and held senior corporate strategy and investor relations roles at FibroGen and Aclaris Therapeutics. Earlier in his career, he was a portfolio manager leading portfolio construction and risk management for healthcare-dedicated funds. He earned B.A. and B.S. degrees in economics and biology from The George Washington University and a combined M.D./MBA from Tufts University School of Medicine, and is a licensed physician in Massachusetts and New York.
