Ralph Rewers

Bio:

Ralph Rewers obtained his BS in Pharmacy in 1980 and received his Pharm D. in 1986 as one of the first "post BS" Pharm D graduates at the Purdue School of Pharmacy. He practiced for 13 years in hospital pharmacy in northwest Indiana while also serving on the Purdue. Pharmacy alumni board. He was also heavily involved in Indiana State pharmacy association during his years in Indiana. He specialized in critical care medicine while mentoring many pharmacy students (Purdue and Butler). He then moved to Tucson Arizona and served as clinical coordinator at Tucson Medical Center while also on Faculty at the University of Arizona.

In 1994 Ralph joined the pharmaceutical industry by joining Pfizer as a clinical education consultant. He spent the next 30 years working in medical affairs and specifically field medical (MSLs). In 1996 he became a field manager and spent the rest of his career in leadership positions with 6 companies (Pfizer, Amgen, BMS, Abbvie, AstraZeneca and Gilead). He has led organizations as large as 250 people. He has also launched well over 20 billion dollars products over his career. He has also published white papers on field medical and was the initial lead for field medical for MAPS (Medical Affairs Professional Society).

Since retiring in November of 2024, you can find him in his RV touring the US and getting some time on the slopes in his home state of Colorado. He is still an avid Boilermaker fan and was at last year's final four with the Boilers.
