Bio:
Shawn Keogan, Ph.D. is Director of Patient Advocacy, Professional Relations, and Patient Engagement at Genmab, where she spearheads strategic partnerships with advocacy organizations, professional societies, and patients in oncology across the US and Europe. With a robust scientific background and passion for driving patient impact, Shawn’s work places the patient voice at the center of development and commercialization strategies, elevating the patient perspective within the healthcare ecosystem.
Shawn brings over a decade of experience in patient advocacy, scientific communications, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to Genmab, she served as Senior Director of Patient Advocacy at Bristol Myers Squibb, where she led global and U.S. advocacy strategies across oncology, immunology, neurology, and rare diseases.
She holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Drexel University College of Medicine and began her career in laboratory science and scientific communications.
