Sonit Handa is a physician executive and biopharmaceutical strategy and operations
leader with more than 20 years of experience across healthcare, research, consulting, and global pharma. As Founder and Managing Partner of Biovance Consulting, he advises rare-disease and specialty-product companies on launch strategy, commercialization readiness, operating models, and cross-functional
execution, helping leadership teams translate priorities into practical plans, governance, and capabilities.
At Horizon Therapeutics, Sonit led the design and build of the global commercialization organization supporting ex-U.S. expansion of multi-million dollar rare-disease medicines. Working across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Supply, Finance, and regional leadership, he established the operating
structure, cross-functional teams, governance, planning processes, and regional capabilities required to prepare for launches across the EU, Middle East, Latin America, Japan, and other priority markets. He also led cross-functional launch planning across markets, helping leadership identify dependencies, surface risks, and align decisions across functions and regions
