Stephanie Otis, PharmD CHC

Bio:

Stephanie Otis is the Vice President Global Medical Excellence at Ferring Pharmaceuticals.  In her role, she is responsible for driving strategies that contribute to medical excellence and scientific leadership, bringing life changing therapies to help people build families and live better lives.  In the US, Ferring is a leader in reproductive medicine and maternal health, uro-oncology and in specialty areas within gastroenterology, including microbiome therapeutics, and orthopaedics.

Stephanie leads a multidisciplined and experienced medical team, which includes Scientific Communications, Real World Evidence, Integrated Evidence Generation, Medical Information, Engagement and Operations.  

Stephanie has served in various leadership roles within the pharmaceutical industry, including Head of US Medical Affairs, Head of Commercial Operations for Marketing and Sales and Head of Healthcare Compliance. Prior to Ferring, Stephanie worked for Berlex Labs and Bayer Healthcare where she gained experience in pharmacovigilance, medical information and medical education. Stephanie is the author and Chairperson for Ferring’s Women Council, a Healthcare Business Women’s Association Rising Star and Luminary, and advocate for the advancement and development of women in leadership. She has a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and a graduate degree in healthcare compliance from George Washington University.
