Sue Ann Pentecost

Bio:

Sue Ann Pentecost is Vice President of NA Communications for Bayer’s Pharmaceuticals business. In this role, she oversees communications for Bayer NA, one of the company’s largest markets during a time of rapid growth and transformation. Her focus is developing and executing integrated communications programs to advance Bayer’s oncology, cardiovascular and women’s health brands in addition to radiology and specialty products.

Sue Ann also oversees communications for Bayer Pharmaceuticals’ Worldwide Markets. Sue Ann plays an integral role on key corporate executive communication along with executive and internal initiatives to build Bayer’s reputation in the U.S. and worldwide
commercial markets.

Prior to joining Bayer, Sue Ann spent 14 years with PPD, now Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she oversaw many global corporate communications and marketing programs, including reputation and corporate branding as well as executive communications; media 
relations and issues communications; and internal communications.

With more than 25 years of experience, she has held communications roles across various areas of health services and clinical research in addition to roles with global agencies, Ruder Finn and Porter Novelli.
Sue Ann earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her master’s degree in technical communication from North Carolina State University.
