Xiang Zhang
Director, HTA Excellence & Analytics
Bio:
Xiang Zhang, PhD, is a biopharma strategist focused on how evidence architecture shapes future credibility and value realization with both regulators and HTA/payers. With over 12 years of industry experience spanning biometrics, real-world evidence, HTA, HEOR, and evidence strategy, his work has centered primarily on phase 2 and later-stage decision making, particularly where companies need to connect development strategy with long-term value outcomes.
Trained as a statistician, Xiang brings strong quantitative and methodological rigor to complex cross-functional decisions. Much of his work involves helping teams translate scientific and methodological questions into decision-useful strategic frameworks, especially when later-stage evidence, value, and payer expectations need to be considered earlier in the asset path.
His perspective is often most useful in high-uncertainty settings where leadership teams are evaluating important path decisions and want to understand not only what may be technically feasible, but also how those choices may shape future evidence credibility, payer defensibility, and value realization.
