Bio:
Erin serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of US Medical Affairs at GSK, where she oversees the therapeutic areas for Vaccines, Oncology, Specialty, Anti-infectives and Respiratory. Reporting directly to the Global Chief Patient Officer (CPO), Erin plays a crucial role on both the CPO and US Commercial leadership teams and is grounded in her deep commitment to patient outcomes. She leads with impact and integrity to get ahead together through innovative science, proactive communications and effective collaboration.
With more than 25 years of navigating the complexities of medical affairs, clinical development and commercialization, Erin bridges the gap between complex data, novel research and optimal patient care.
Prior to joining GSK in 2021, Erin spent more than 18 years at Novartis where she held several senior positions, including leading the Oncology Medical Affairs Organization. Her career also includes roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb as a US Medical Regional Director and Senior Medical Science Liaison, as well as positions in Medical Services and Scientific Affairs at Glaxo Wellcome.
Erin holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from Campbell University and an MBA in Management and Marketing from the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business at Campbell University. She also completed a clinical residency program through the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Hospitals/Glaxo Wellcome Residency, specializing in pulmonary medicine and infectious diseases.
