Bio:

Robin Winter-Sperry, MD, has an extensive background in the healthcare industry, working both within the biopharmaceutical industry and as a consultant, speaker and author. Robin is currently
the President of Scientific Resilience, a consulting firm focused on Global Medical Affairs strategy and innovation. Prior to joining Scientific Resilience, Robin was the Field-Based Medical Excellence International/Oncology Lead at Pfizer.


Robin has extensive global management experience. Before joining Pfizer, Robin was the Head of Global Field-Based Medical at Ipsen, where she created Global FBM Excellence and Insights at Sanofi Genzyme, building the standards for Field-Based Medical Excellence worldwide. Robin joined Sanofi Genzyme in 2015 as the Vice President of Tactics & Strategy in Multiple Sclerosis and moved to the Boston area. Before moving to Massachusetts, Robin was the founder of
Scientific Advantage, a worldwide Medical Affairs consulting firm, where she was instrumental in creating innovative Medical Affairs strategies and operations, including mergers, transitions,
training, and Medical Affairs organizational design.

Robin started working in the industry at Schering-Plough (Merck) in Dermatology covering professional services, medical information, and training. Following her position at ScheringPlough, Robin joined Sandoz/Novartis in New Product Development. Robin has extensive product launch and lifecycle management experience. While at Novartis, Robin created Novartis’ first doctoral-level Medical Science Liaison (MSL) department with over 90 MSLs across multiple
therapeutic areas, followed by building Sanofi-Synthelabo’s (Sanofi) Medical Therapeutic Liaison division. Robin has pioneered the recognition of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs)/Field Medical
as a specialty in the biopharmaceutical and device industry, as well as creating, leading, and evolving many of the industry’s leading Medical Affairs and Field Medical teams.

Robin is currently President of the Americas and on the board of the Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS). Previously, Robin served as the Chair of the Membership Experience Committee and founder of both the Field Medical and Mentorship Focus Area Working Groups (FAWGs).
