Bio:
Samantha Gothelf, PharmD, is the Vice President and Head of US Medical Affairs at Genmab, where she leads the team supporting the company’s hematology and solid tumor oncology portfolios in the United States. She is responsible for the development and execution of US Medical Affairs strategy and provides scientific leadership in close partnership with Global Medical Affairs.
With more than two decades of experience in Medical Affairs within the biopharmaceutical industry, Samantha is recognized for her ability to define strategic vision, build and scale high-performing teams and deliver measurable value across complex therapeutic areas. Her leadership is anchored in a deep commitment to scientific excellence, innovation and improving outcomes for patients.
Prior to joining Genmab, Samantha spent more than 20 years at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), most recently serving as Vice President of US Medical Oncology. During her tenure, she led numerous product launches, key data communications and strategic collaborations at both the domestic and global level.
Samantha earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Rutgers University. She is a dedicated advocate for advancing leadership in science and medicine, having served as faculty for the SITC Women in Cancer Immunotherapy Network Leadership Institute and as keynote speaker for the Rutgers Institute for Pharmaceutical Fellowships.
