Libby Holman

Bio:

Libby Holman is Senior Director of Neuroscience Communications, Government Affairs and Policy Communications at Eisai Inc., where she leads strategic communications initiatives across the company's neuroscience franchise and supports engagement with a broad range of healthcare stakeholders. In this role, she works at the intersection of communications, public policy, patient advocacy, and business strategy, helping to ensure that diverse stakeholder perspectives inform decision-making across the organization.  

Libby advises senior leaders on issues that shape patient access, public understanding of disease, corporate reputation, financial communications, and the evolving healthcare environment. She has played a leadership role in advancing communications strategies surrounding the most significant developments in Alzheimer's disease, partnering across commercial, medical, policy, advocacy, and executive functions to align organizational priorities with patient and societal needs. 

Throughout her career, Libby has been passionate about elevating the patient voice beyond traditional communications activities and embedding patient insights into broader business discussions. She has worked closely with advocacy organizations, caregivers, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and community leaders to help organizations better understand stakeholder perspectives and translate those perspectives into meaningful action. 

Known for her ability to connect stakeholders with diverse interests and objectives, Libby specializes in building alignment around complex issues, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and helping organizations navigate change in rapidly evolving healthcare landscapes. Her work reflects a commitment to ensuring that strategy, policy, communications, and patient engagement efforts remain grounded in the real-world experiences of those most affected by disease. 

Based in New Jersey, Libby leads a team of communications professionals dedicated to advancing Eisai's human health care (hhc) mission and improving outcomes for patients and their families. She holds a bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
